Southwest R-V Bond Issue - April 4th

posted Mar 1, 2017, 9:42 AM by SWR5 Web Sites   [ updated Mar 1, 2017, 9:55 AM ]

A critical need for renovations and repairs to our current middle school and elementary facilities -- including major repairs to our middle school gymnasium -- was recently determined after completing a district facilities review. In the best interest of the district and community, we have decided to run a bond issue on April 4, 2017 to fund these repairs. The bond will not increase the current 85 cent levy. This means that the necessary repairs and renovations can happen without increasing the current taxes that are paid to the school district.

Important Dates:
Wednesday, March 8                 Last Day to Register to Vote
Monday, March 13, 5:00pm
Elementary School Library:        Bond Issue Committee Meeting

Thursday, March 16, 5:30pm    High School Library:                   Informational Meeting
Tuesday, April 4, 2017               Where you normally vote         VOTE!
