Volleyball against Exeter

Southwest swept Exeter in high school volleyball Tuesday night. The varsity won 25-15, 25-10 on Senior Night, marking the 12th straight season the girls have won that particular game. Junior Myka Cook led the way with 11 kills, 7 digs, a block and an ace. The four seniors Bekah McKeever, Sydney Delossantos, Sydney Leroy and Brianna Learned combined for 54 digs. The varsity improved to 9-17-2 and 4-2 in the Ozark 7.  Southwest also won the JV game. Sophomore Mariah Munday made 20 of 21 serves and record 11 aces to go with 6 kills. Sophomore Lacey Reeves added 10 assists, 2 digs and a kill. The JV improved to 9-4-1 overall and finished the Ozark 7 season 5-1. The Lady Trojans conclude the regular season Thursday with a home game against Crane. The JV m​atch starts at 6:00.
