A total of eight Southwest High School volleyball players earned Academic All-State honors, including: Seniors Heather Windes, Maggie Robbins, Lacey Reeves, Jacey Ball and Mariah Monday, and Sophomores Khloe Holder, Bonnie Robbins and Karma Romine. The girls combined for 51 A's and 4 B's and a combined grade-point average of 3.92, according to Coach Steve Voyak. "This is a amazing and speaks for itself," Voyak said. "I had three other players who did not letter, but played on the varsity, and all three of them would have made it as well, so we would have been 11 for 11 with our players, and that's incredible focus on academics."
