Southwest FFA Prepares for State Competition

The Southwest FFA chapter had 2 contest teams, and 3 speakers qualify for state competition. Poultry placed 7th at districts, Soils placed 10th at districts, Creed placed 3rd at districts, Division 1 speaking placed 1st at districts, and Extemporaneous speaking placed 5th at districts. Southwest FFA also has 5 students receiving their state degrees. The chapter will also be recognized on stage for their silver rating in National Chapter and for winning the Hammon's walnut gathering competition. Students will attend State FFA Convention April 19th-21st.
