The Lady Trojans junior varsity volleyball team won 2 games and tied 2 others and finished runner-up at Spikefest Saturday in Washburn. Southwest beat Purdy and Hurley and tied Cassville and Crane. Cassville won the tournament. JV Coach Emily Thurman earned her first victory as a high school coach against our rival the Purdy Eagles.

The girls return to action Tuesday with 3 games at Galena. Bus leaves at 3:15 p.m.
