Colten Phillips, Case Jennings, Levi Carden, Dakota Cotton, and Jesse Jones shot a combined 956/1000 targets in 2 days to take the championship by one target.
Every shooter finished above their season average. Both days 8 of our 11 shooters had scores above a 90. Layten Cole shot his first 25 straight. Jesse Jones shot his first 50 straight. Colten Phillips got his first 100 straight in singles. Levi Carden recently got his first 100 straight.
Levi was also invited to train in St. Louis with the USA Shooting team Junior Olympic scout. And over the past couple weeks, Jesse has enlisted and been sworn into the Marine Corps. He is officially an active duty recruit hoping to work with the armory after basic.
It has been a very busy, but very productive summer for the trap team!
