The Southwest R-V School District is honored to announce its designation as a 2025–2026 Capturing Kids’ Hearts® National Showcase District. This distinguished recognition reflects the district’s strong commitment to cultivating meaningful relationships, promoting a positive school culture, and ensuring student success.

The Capturing Kids’ Hearts® National Showcase District Award is presented to districts demonstrating exceptional outcomes through effective implementation of the Capturing Kids’ Hearts® Process. Honorees exhibit high levels of performance, a supportive and positive climate, and a steadfast dedication to making every student feel safe, connected, and valued.

Southwest R-V earned this recognition through the leadership team's intentional focus on implementing Capturing Kids’ Hearts practices across all campuses. This achievement is further underscored by the fact that a significant majority of the district’s schools were also recognized as 2025–2026 Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase Schools®.

We are especially proud to share that both Southwest High School and Southwest Elementary School have been named 2025–2026 Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase Schools®. This accomplishment reflects the dedication of their administrators, faculty, and staff in fostering a culture where relationships, trust, and purposeful practices guide the daily experiences of both students and staff.
