National Honor Society Announces Annual Pumpkin Decorating/Carving Contest

The National Honor Society (NHS) is calling on creative young artists from Pre-K through 8th grade to join its annual pumpkin decorating and carving contest.

To enter, students must clearly label their pumpkins with their full name and grade level. NHS judges will select two winners from each grade, and every participant will receive a small goody bag filled with candy.

Key Contest Details:

  • Submission Window: Pumpkins must be turned in between Monday, Oct. 26, and Thursday, Oct. 29. No pumpkins will be accepted or judged on Friday, Oct. 30, which coincides with the school's Trunk or Treat event.

  • Drop-Off Assistance: NHS members will be stationed in the elementary/middle school parking lot from 7:30 AM to 7:50 AM, Monday through Thursday, to help students unload and carry their pumpkins inside.

  • Pumpkin Pick-Up: All entries must be taken home by Friday, Oct. 30.
