Trey Ray (pictured on the right) from Butterfield, MO and 2024 graduate of Southwest High School was recently named as a recipient of the College Assistance Migrant Program Scholarship. This scholarship is Federally funded for students who have an agricultural background like Trey Ray. Students in this program receive assistance during their first year of school with all expenses and receive financial assistance for tuition, student fees, textbooks, room and board and a monthly stipend to off-set personal needs. Students also receive personal advising, career advising and free tutoring on campus.
Trey is planning to attend Crowder College to study Diesel Mechanics with a plan to graduate from the program in 2026.
