Southwest School Board Filing Dates Set
Filing dates for candidacy for the Southwest R-V Board of Education election have been set for December 9, 2025 thru December 30, 2025 during regular office hours {8 am – 4 pm/Monday thru Friday}. Filing will begin December 9, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. and end on December 30, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. The office will be closed for the holidays on the following dates: December 19 {1:00 pm} December 22,23,24,25,26,29 {all day} and 30 th {until noon}, also if district is closed due to inclement weather. The office will be open on the last day of filing, December 30th from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Qualified applicants for the Board may file for candidacy with Board Secretary Judy Brooks in the office of the Superintendent. In accordance with Policy BBB, placement of candidate names on ballot will be in the order of filing.
Three vacancies for 3-year terms will be filled at the April 7, 2026 election.
