The baseball team traveled to Exeter Saturday for two games. Lost to Lakeland 9 to 4. ZaK Corwin was 2 for 4 with 3 runs scored. Cruz Marquez went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI. Tristan Morgan went 2 for 3.
The second game Exeter rallied late and beat us 5 to 3. We actually out hit them and Brendyn Paulsen pitched a great game. Tristan Morgan went 3 for 4 and Cruz Marquez went 2 for 4. Eight of our nine starters had hits.
On Monday we hosted Hurley and won the Varsity game 16 to 6 in 6 innings. Tristan Morgan pitched and got the win. Brendyn hit a 3 run home run for his first HS home run. He finished 2 for 2 with a 5 RBI and 3 walks. Coy Shrum went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Trey Ray also had 2 RBI
The JV won their game 7 to 2 improving their record to 4 and 2
We travel to Billings Thursday for JV and V games. We then play two games Friday in the Purdy Tournament and one game Saturday. Hopefully our pitching holds up.
